1. How do I properly install a Telecom26 eSIM?


To install your Telecom26 eSIM, follow these steps carefully:

  1. Ensure you have data connectivity, Wifi or Mobile 
  2. Install the eSIM on your phone
  3. Set up the APN (Access Point Name) to activate connectivity
  4. Enable Data Roaming


NB: These processes vary with phone type, so please check the manufacturer’s instructions or Telecom26 Guide at https://t26.ch/go 

⚠️ Important: Skipping either step may cause connectivity issues.



2. How do I make sure my Telecom26 eSIM is used for mobile data?


After installing your Telecom26 eSIM, set it as the preferred eSIM for mobile data:

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data)
  2. Under Cellular Plansselect Telecom26 eSIM
  3. Tap Mobile Data and set Telecom26 eSIM as the preferred option


⚠️ If you skip this step, your device may continue using another SIM, leading to connectivity issues.



3. Why is the eSIM option not appearing on my iPhone?


This could be due to the following reasons:

  1. iPhone Model Compatibility: Not all iPhones support eSIM. Check if your device is compatible
  2. iOS Version: Ensure your iPhone is updated to the latest iOS version
  3. Carrier Lock: Some iPhones are locked to a specific carrier and may not allow eSIM activation from other providers. Contact your carrier to confirm



4. What should I do if my eSIM installation fails?


If you’re having trouble installing your eSIM, try these steps:

5. Why is my eSIM not activating after installation?


Possible reasons include:

  2. eSIM Profile Support: Ensure the eSIM profile is compatible with your iPhone and network
  3. Network Restrictions: Some networks may restrict eSIM activation

  2. Remove the eSIM and reinstall it using a new QR code
  3. Make sure both steps of installation were completed: (1) Install eSIM + (2) Set up APN
